My first day of school was awesome I was a little nervous at first because this was my first year being on campus. Once I arrived that went out the window lol. I arrived to campus pretty early so I could print out my syllabus for each of my classes. I saw a lot of other students from my orientation which was nice to see some familiar faces and answer some questions they had. A few was like you was in orientation where is this class, I asked them how they first day of class was and were they developing those social connections I mentioned in orientation. They laughed like yeah one did tell they had made two friends that made my day. I was happy for them because college is a new journey and experience and it is good to building those connections very useful too. If you happen to miss class you could ask that person if you could borrow their notes and become study partners. My professors are very kind and my classes seem like their going to be a breeze long as I progress the flow of things. This was pretty funny so I know all the resources and familiar with campus but I could not find my marketing class I asked around then I walked to Flory saw a advisor asked they told me it was in the pavilion. That was only building I was not aware of really then I get there few minutes early I'm sitting there and they class was filled in my mind I'm thinking oh they have not dismissed yet. I look back at my schedule this was my class LOL. That tickled me we just went over introductions and course material. After my last class I went to the library and highlighted all the important dates in my syllabus so nothing would be surprising. My second day of school I also worked at the welcome desk it was a piece of cake and fun I like helping people so giving directions and answering questions were pretty fun for me. Including I have customer service experience. I use to answer the phone at the recreation center I use to work at. The welcome desk is pretty chill it would pick up then slow down. Overall I was glad I could be of help once my shift was complete. I went out to help setup for welcome week event I was excited this was my first event I setup corn hole and helped with bringing supplies out. Once everything was setup I start walking up to other students asking them did they want to join in on the fun. I was told I was a great recruiter I like meeting new people. From being a SOL has helped me so much with gringling we had at least sixty students join it was a great turnout. I am so honored to be a Student Ambassador I love what I do. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and can't wait to see where it takes me. I'm happy to be on campus almost back to normal. I had a great first week looking forward to rest of semester and to give you all updates stay tuned:)
